About Me
I've always been inspired by the human capacity to overcome adversity with resilience and strength, regardless of the circumstances. While in graduate school, I was compelled by research validating root causes and interventions that aimed to mend and improve relationships, development, marginalization, socialization, and biochemistry. It was through this research and application that I began to heal and grow driven to this work.
I believe the client-therapist relationship is the most important anchor in therapy. My approach encompasses interventions that are rooted in relationship-based and cognitive-behavioral theories. I provide a space that is transparent, compassionate, collaborative, and welcoming. I offer a non-judgemental, open minded, person-centered space. Together, we can find healing, find deeper meaning and reach your desired goals.
As a Latinx, cisgender female, I have had varying experiences that have taught me the importance of a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach. When assessing individuals, I acknowledge intersecting identities and strengths to better understand diverse perspectives and support healing.
